Hi girls,
Today I am going to review the eyeshadow palette I have had for 3 years now, my Coastal Scents 120 Eye Shadow Palette. So I got the fourth one because the darker shades attracted me the most. This palette contains a wide range of shades from bright colors to darker shades but none of the eye shadows are matte. Even the ones that are not shimmery have a sort of sheen.
So let’s move on to swatches.
First:
Yellow-Golds
Peaches-Oranges
Pinks-Violet-Cranberry-Burgundy
Grey-Dark Purple
Purple-Blue
Blue-Aqua-Green
Brown-Copper
As you can see from the pictures above that the eye shadows are very pigmented.
Pros:
- Affordable
- Wide range of shimmery eye shadows
- Beautiful packaging
- Very Pigmented
- Wide range of vibrant colors
- Some of the eye shadows have a buttery smooth texture
- No irritating fragrance
- Easy to blend
Cons:
- No matte eye shadows
- No transition color
- Some of the eye shadows are very chalky and rough
- Fall out is a major problem
My Opinion:
Overall, it is a nice palette to have in your collection. I know neutral lovers or matte eye shadow lovers such as myself might not be fond of this palette but it might come in handy if you ever need some bright colors or some shimmery eye shadows, it can also be useful for holidays such as Halloween or Christmas. And if you’re a huge fan of shimmery eye shadows or bright colors you’re going to love this palette. I got it on sale so it cost me about $17.99.
For the fall outs you can use an eye shadow shield or a tissue paper under your eyes and a light hand.
I hope you guys liked this review.
Thank you for reading.
